TEAM PROFILE

Co FOUNDER, INVESTIGATOR, RESEACHER AND HISTORIAN.

OCCUPATION: Care Assitant

Hi, my name is Gill Stubbs. I am the Co founder of Spectre Analysis with Kath.
I have been interested in the paranormal since childhood. My Nan told me a ghost story which was connected to a local legend and that she had actually seen this ghost. It was this story that sparked my interest in the paranormal. It was not only the story, but the fact that I could go and look up the information and find out the facts behind the legend.

My role in the group
I am the Research Historian of the team and I believe that in order to conduct a proper investigation at a location, you need to find as much information as possible. I love going out to libraries, books shops, and searching the internet to find out as much information about the locations we are investigating, tracing past owners of a property, what the property had been used for and what other things could have been on that site. It’s just amazing what can turn up out of the blue.

I also find new locations and the stories and legends behind them. Our team visit some fantastic locations and the history behind these is just incredibly fascinating.

My aims and goals.
I want to find out 100% proof that ghosts, spirits or whatever you want to call them are real.

I would like to think that there is something else, somewhere where our spirit goes. It is a lovely thought that you could meet up again with loved ones or other people from the past.

Since such programmes as Most Haunted, Haunted Homes and Dead Famous, ghost hunting as never been so popular but this can have a down side as so many places charge ridiculous prices to attend such and event. I would like to see this stopped and more of a serious side given to this.

Enjoy our blog and if you are interested in joining us, please let us know.

Dane Mill, Congleton

I had been looking forward to this investigation since we arranged it. The team from Dragoon publishing are such a great team and are so interested in the paranormal.

We all met up, had coffee and a chat. It was then time to start work.

We split into three groups. My group was Lee, Mark and Judith. We started in the office by setting up a trigger object under Sue’s desk. We sat around chatting for a while. It felt relaxed until I saw a figure walk pass the window. No lights came on until I stood by the door. This changed the mood within the group a little bit and I think it put the others on edge a bit. We heard a few beeps and that made us check the mobile phones in the room.

We met up with the other groups for a coffee and we found out what the others had felt and what had happened to them.

Steve and I had a short break and came back in. We felt as thought someone was following us on the stairs. This did not feel comfortable.

This was the next area my group investigated and I was not at ease at all. I don’t like stairs at the best of times but to think that someone had followed me and I could not see them, just set my imagination on full force. We could hear the noises from the other room but without gaining access to this room, I am not sure if this was paranormal or not.

At brew time, we found out what the other groups had witnessed.

All I wanted to do now was to go to the lift area (you can see the lieft shaft on the photo here in blue). This is where a man hung himself. But I have found another story that tells of a hanging in the boiler room outside.(The light corner in the bottom left of the photo is where the boiler room use to be).

I tried to call out and force this man to talk to me. This area did make us all feel uneasy as it was cold and dark.

We finished at 4am.

What a great investigation. Wonderful building and a great team.

I would like to thank everyone from Dragoon publishing for this night and the chance to help with their paranormal magazine.

I hope we will work together many more times and I would love to go back and visit the mill again.
