As promised, we made a second visit to Dane Mill in May 2009. I couldnt wait. It was a beatiful night.
I always say that in order to conduct a proper investigation of a building, more than one investigation has to be done. This is because you have a better idea of the layout, the notices the building makes naturally and to re run any experiments you do. Also if you do believe in this thought that any ghosts that exist in the building get to know you, they are more likely to come forward. Whether you agree with that ot not, it was good to be back and working with the Dragoon team once more.
We were all set up by 10pm and we split into three teams. My team were Lisa and Steve and we started in the Dragoon's office. Kath's team started by the lift and Racheal's team went into the far office. As you may remember, a child is said to visit the office and we left a trigger object under the desk. This time I left paper and crayons. Between the three of us, we did experice a few things inc - trouble with our walkie talkie, batteries draining from cameras, we all saw movement by the middle office door, Steve had the back of his head touched, one lap top turned itself off and on twice(it was checked later and this should not happen) and footsteps as though a child was moving quickly. I did get the feeling that we were being watched but it was nothing scary.
About 11.30, we all swopped and my group went into the far office. This office felt so different. A pendlum was placed on the table and the temp was 28.3(which stayed about the same all night) but this room was not nice. How can two areas in the same building feel so different? But it did. Between the three of us, we saw movement in the doorway as though someone was peering around the doorframe. We also heard footsteps as if someone was wearing boots. Steve also saw a small shape dart across him. I didnt like this room at all and it seemed strange how we all felt the same. But was that because we were talking about how we felt and what we saw while we were sitting in the room. Could it be the case of once an idea is fixed in your head, you keep adding to that idea.
We all met up for a chat and it was then that we shared what had happened to everyone.
I was shocked by what was said. Kath's group had stayed in the office and Kath had asked for someone to do something to Jon (in Racheal's group). They were in the storeroom and by the lift. There is noway they could have heard what Kath had asked. Racheal's group saw light orbs(sorry but I think most of these are dust), they heard a woman's voice and loud bangs. But Jon had the strangest experince. He felt as though someone pushed him and then he said "its going through me, its hot, my ears are warm". He went down to a crouched postion and said "they've gone".
Wow, I would love to feel something like that myself. Was it someone passing through Jon or at least trying to get his attention.
We investigated the far office and the lift again as a whole group but nothing else happened. We had picked up on two names through the night - Peter Jones and Sarah ( I will try and find out if these are people who worked here). We finished at 3am.
What a strange and wonderful night. From strange shapes in a doorway, footsteps, voices and Jon's experience, we couldnt ask for much more.
Many thanks to Racheal, Jon and Lisa and I hope to be back again soon.
TEAM PROFILE
Co FOUNDER, INVESTIGATOR, RESEACHER AND HISTORIAN.
OCCUPATION: Care Assitant
Hi, my name is Gill Stubbs. I am the Co founder of Spectre Analysis with Kath.
I have been interested in the paranormal since childhood. My Nan told me a ghost story which was connected to a local legend and that she had actually seen this ghost. It was this story that sparked my interest in the paranormal. It was not only the story, but the fact that I could go and look up the information and find out the facts behind the legend.
My role in the group
I am the Research Historian of the team and I believe that in order to conduct a proper investigation at a location, you need to find as much information as possible. I love going out to libraries, books shops, and searching the internet to find out as much information about the locations we are investigating, tracing past owners of a property, what the property had been used for and what other things could have been on that site. It’s just amazing what can turn up out of the blue.
I also find new locations and the stories and legends behind them. Our team visit some fantastic locations and the history behind these is just incredibly fascinating.
My aims and goals.
I want to find out 100% proof that ghosts, spirits or whatever you want to call them are real.
I would like to think that there is something else, somewhere where our spirit goes. It is a lovely thought that you could meet up again with loved ones or other people from the past.
Since such programmes as Most Haunted, Haunted Homes and Dead Famous, ghost hunting as never been so popular but this can have a down side as so many places charge ridiculous prices to attend such and event. I would like to see this stopped and more of a serious side given to this.
Enjoy our blog and if you are interested in joining us, please let us know.
